Agreed!

I wish the money I spent on the whole system would have been on Forced Induction but I'm hessitant with warranty and luckily the dealer will warrant with exhaust and CAI mods if I retune to stock tune. Once its payed off, those headers and 4 inch will me optimized with FI.

Definatly load some exhaust videos once you put the long tubes in!

Did you notice any difference with that 4" exhaust? That sounds like overkill without boost and the 1 7/8" headers. Did you have the headers made with e 4" collector at the Y?

Yes the stock wires will work fine.

I never drove it with the stock catback and just headers so i cant say for comparison to the 4" catback. I removed the complete stock setup and then added the headers and drove it to the exhaust shop with open headers and they did the catback. It is noticable power increase over the complete stock exhaust and I really threw around the cat-back size for a while before going with 4 inch over 3.5". Basically i saw no reason in replacing the stock setup if i stayed with 3.5" other than to replace the muffler. The other reason I went 4" is there are a few trucks on here with 4" with cam and or FI and I figured i will go one of those two routes eventually so I wanted the exhaust done once and for all so I went single 4". It pulls well for a mostly stock setup from 2-5k rpms now and its not excesively loud either. As for the headers, they have the stock 3.5" ARH merge collector and the shop put a step from 3.5 to 4 inch that bolts with a band clamp to the headers. Keep in mind I am saying a noticable power increase with everthing else staying the same. The tune has not been loaded yet so I drove it with CAI intake stock tune & exhaust and now CAI stock tune & Lts with 4" and it pulls better mid RPMs for sure!

Check out my thread in the MGT900 forum "6.2L exhaust recommendations"
