Default I need some help with cam selection for my 2500hd 6.0

This is my dd and its a 04 regular cab long bed if that matters. Ive added a nelson tune, cold air intake, and a magnaflow muffler. Ive been thinking of adding a cam, underdrive, and maybe a set of longtubes.

So if I was going to add a cam what are my options? I know a bit about ls1 cams but have no idea what size cams will work well in my truck. And would I need to do a stall converter to take advantage of these mods? I was looking at the yank 2600. Im not looking to build a race truck, Id just like to keep ahead of my buddies new 08 2500hd Right now its close, but as soon as he gets a tune I will be left behind.

Another question I have is how many miles are you guys getting out of the 6.0's before they give up the ghost? Ive got just over 100k on it now and wondering if I should be looking for a new motor. Its been drivin pretty hard its whole life.

And my last question is how far will the stock fuel system take me. When the truck was bone stock I ran a dry 100 shot through it all the time. And just wondering if the injectors and fuel pump would still be able to handle that size of a dry shot with the mods I have now.

thanks for any input

Sean
