Default i need help

i'm building a 408 stroker for a for a 2000 chevy truck. i putting a ls3 L92 topend on it. what throttle body can i run with the 2000 harness and the ls3 L92 intake? thanks

2000 should be operated by a cable, so it shouldn't matter(I thought 2000 were all cable, maybe I'm wrong). If someone put a harness in it from a newer truck, and it is a DBW (drive by wire) then you will need a plug to convert the signal over from the truck throttle body. At that point you can pretty much run anything.

the reason i'm not sure is were putting the motor in a 98 chevy truck that had a vortec. we have a 2000 harness and computer out of a truck.

Pretty sure thats cable driven DBW wasn't till 03 I think someone correct me if Im wrong

Yeo 03 started the DBW in trucks, I think some tahoes and suvs had it in late 02, at least I think

As has been previously covered, ETC (DBW) was introduced across the board (except vans) in 2003; however trucks and SUV’s with traction control had it as early as 2001. Some luxury trucks such as the 2001 GMC C³ and 2002 GMC Sierra Denali even had it without traction control.
