i found a lq9 out of a cadillac escalade for $1400... i think i can get it a few hundred cheaper. intake, coils, exhaust manifolds, accessory brackets, ect.. its got 104,xxx miles. would you be leary of it, or just swap in cam of choice and install? thanks for your time. going in my crew cab btw.

 

It's prob a good engine but Id try to get it a little cheeper with that many miles.

I would agree with stock48. Is the vehicle it's in in a junkyard or a total?

its a pull out. a guy was doing the swap into a 99 camaro, but lost intrest and is trying to sell the car and motor. i agree ive seen a few with less miles for about the same money on car-parts. thanks guys.
