Default I need EDIT .. 03 trucks ready yet???????

Got beat tonite ...
Went from about a 55 roll. I got the jump, was pulling on him til I hit 95, then it started slacking off and I stopped pulling. Then I hit 100, he comes sailing by and all I can do is smile.

TQM is driving me nuts with this fat converter in there, and I would think it's just gonna get worse with the shift kit that fixing to go in.

I feel for sure there is some power to be had with giving it a little more timing.

This ETC crap is driving my psycho. I hate this backing out of the throttle for me cause it thinks it's a good time to.

Anyone heard anything about the EDIT being ready for the 03 trucks yet? I'd love to have it. Anyone know anything about it at all? Still in the figuring out what's going on stages, testing, anyone got anything on it yet????

But ... is it working right with the 03's so you don't have to buy the extra cable from Speartech?

I have been waiting for this too. I'm not buying until you don't need the extra cable.

I'm gonna bump this ... I'd really like to know what the status is of EDIT and not having to buy the additional cable.

I'm getting to the point where I need it with the mods I've got going on.

You still need the additional cable, sorry.

I've had Edit for almost 6 months for my 03 SS, but not "in-truck" tuning. They have a version that does work for some trucks with less fance options, like no ONstar, no XM, etc... From what I hear, it works MOST of the time, but not always. I tried that version with mine, and had to have the dealer reflash the PCM. I'm going to keep using the extra cable.

That sometimes version sounds IFFY to say the least.

Do you know if there are plans to make it work with the new trucks? Or is this going to be the extent of thier fixing the problem? I'm guessing they need to release a new hardware piece, but don't want to change the hardware up any and are trying to get around it.

Did your dealer reflash it for free under warranty or did you have to pay for it?
