I have no torque.....

I believe there are multiple threads on milling the 243's for different applications so do a search and see what you come up with. I'm sure many people can chime in on this as well and give you the info you need. Also I think the shortie's might be hurting you a bit as well. Lt's are are the choice of most people on here for N/A.

Well i went and took my 243 heads off and found out that i do have flat toped pistons and they arent dished like every one says. But i am putting on my truck heads anyways to see what the difference is like. But if any one has any opinions about this please share.

I'm tellin ya... you'd be better off with truck heads, small cam, converter and gears... those 243's have got to be killing you. Thats why it is breathing so well up top and fells like a dog down low... If you're all about swapping internal engine parts then get a 5.3 crancshaft and build a 5.3.... thats the only difference. mill the 243's and you'd have a decent little combo there.

Ok people disapointing news, i just randomly decided to swap my old truck heads on tonight and im done i just got back from driving it around and also did the g-tech only droped .2 in the quarter mile and its 48 degrees outside when i did the other time it was 70, so thats probly helping alot. So my cam must really just suck ***, i just got it because it was cheaper than buying a new one but it still seemed nice.

I know what your sig says about your exhaust, but the Z06 cam is heavy on the split for use with stock (ie, restrictive) exhaust systems. Even the stock exhaust on Vette's has room for improvement from the factory, but the bandaid the situation by cranking up the exhaust duration.
If you upgraded your exhaust (though putting an x-pipe would help your exhaust even more), it is likely gonna flow more. Couple that with a pretty long exhaust duration, esp for only 4.8L, the exhaust velocity is gonna slow down a good amount, which isn't good for power.
And to top it all off, the zo6 cam has a mile wide LSA, which is gonna spread out the power curve but make it peak higher in the rev range. I think the Comp 206/212 on a 112 would be a lot better.
And if you want to keep even a semblance of usable torque with that 4.8, ditch the plans for the LS6 intake. It's been proven that the truck intake will beat it in lower rpm performance, which is what trucks (esp street/DD trucks) need.
