Default I hate autotap

Im really pretty frustrated with autotap. Ever since i purchased it i have had some problems with it. The first problem i had with it is everyonce and a while it would say could not find autotap hardware, so i would then have to go through a pain in the *** sequence to make it function properly again. After that everytime i try to log, even when i told it to only log certain things it would still log every parameter making the logged data pretty much worthless because the rate it would log was so slow. Now my most recent problem is whenever i try to log, almost everytime all the data is screwed up, but hey it logs what i tell it to log. I will try to log and it will show my o2 sensors fluctuating from -2 to 900mv at idle at a lightning speed rate, then i look at my vehicle speed table and it tells me im going 3000 mph (pretty fast if you ask me ), and then it will tell me my engine speed is 10000 (guess i got a really good engine ). Im just a little frustrated, 1 out of 50 times i try to use it, it will work..... Anyone else have similar problems

I had very similar issues. I'd start logging then look down later and it would say I had 500* IATs and turning 15000 rpms. Usually if I pulled the plug from the dash and put it right back in, it would work right.

Best move I ever made was switching to EFI Live. Just plain KILLS autotap in quality, functionality, speed and reliability. I've never had an issue with it.

I have tried on 3 different trucks to use it to set the CMP Offset to Zero. It's done by turning hte distributor on the old Vortec 350's. It gives some huge rediculous nonsense number instead of degrees like it should.

I also get corrupted data when I log with AutoTap and yes, it is very frustrating to try and tune with that kind of screwed up data. I am still tring to deciced if I want to just get EFILive or get an 02 pcm, trade my Edit in and switch to HPTuners.
