Default i got some ??

Ok I'm gunna put a ls1 in my truck in a week or two will my intake and everythingfrom the top end work on it and what do I need to do to make it work I know a tune but if I don't know so I need some help

your cai will work but im pretty sure your intake manifold will not if you were asking about that too. what are you asking if it will fit on an ls1 from your 4.8?

Yes, your intake, accessories, etc will all swap over from your 4.8 to an LS1. This question gets asked almost daily, usually with a 6.0 swap though, but the externals of the blocks are identical. Do a quick search for 6.0 swap or even LS1 swap and you'll find multiple threads with the same question and answer I just gave you

Agreed and about the only thing that you should come across is one bolt hole not being drilled & tapped in the block for the power-steering/alternator bracket, but that is nothing to set you back.

An LS1 will not fit in your truck no matter what you do. Trust me, I've done all the searching you can do, it's a good thing you weren't willing to look on your own first, that would've been a lot of wasted time!
