Default I Got Ripped Off!!!

I paid Blown Six $250 via paypal for 8 lucas 42.5# ls1 style fuel injectors that he listed in the for sale section here, they were susposed to have only 50 miles on them. Well since i sent him the money he hasn't responded to my e-mails or pm's. I haven't got anything from him in the mail. I filled a complaint with paypal they tried to send me back my money but he has no funds in his paypal account. I sent him the money on june 6th.
does anyone have any information on Josh Cathcart aka Blown Six?
What are my opyions to get my money back?
Sorry for the long post, any help will be greatly appreciated
thanks guys

one of the mods will pick this up and give you a hand in trying to get your money back, or what you bought.
I hate to hear this happen, it makes the guys on here that do right, and use the honor system, look really bad.

Just found the original thread:

Unfortunately, with 16 posts, that guy isn't a regular member. His last logon date was 6/12/04. Do you have any more info for this guy? Location, address, anything?

Send Greg (Fast4.8) a PM about what's happening. Good luck!

Man I hate to hear that. Hopefully you will get the problem resolved. Does paypal hav some kind of deadbeat insurance/guarantee or something? May not hurt to look into it.

i am sure paypal can do something for you. i would definantly be trying to contact them to see what the proper route to take is. i do have to give the mods props, they dont' take this lying down, they really get proactive in solving the situation...

If the agreement was made over the internet or thru emails, contact the FBI. There is an internet fraud complaint center. You need to give them all of the critical details (very long). Need all of your documentation, agreements, log of communication, etc. You can attach web-links and other people who have history w/ the person.

They will email you back a repsonse, they will contact the appropriate local authorities and coordinate the investigation.

Good Luck

thanks for all the help guys
i have already filed a complaint with paypal so if he ever put money back in his paypal account i should get it, but chances are that will never happen.
this is what paypal said
"Our investigation of this complaint is now complete.
The seller did not respond to our requests for confirmation that the package was shipped to your address. Therefore, we attempted to award you a full refund. Unfortunately, there were insufficient funds available in the seller's PayPal account to complete the refund.
PayPal does not consider this a satisfactory resolution of this complaint. We have taken action against this seller's account until the complaint has been resolved.
No further action is required of you at this time.
We value your business and regret this experience. Any portion of the payment which was funded with your credit card will be refunded directly to your credit card. Credits to a credit card generally take 2-3 business days to post, and may not be immediately reflected in the card's balance."

so it looks like after work i will need to file a complaint with the link listed above for the fbi.
thanks again for all of the help
