i know my primarie is no more than an 1/8 inch from the framerail. is your truck 2x4 or 4x4? maybe you got the wrong ones? just trying to throw some ideas out there.

loose exhaust hanger maybe?
the passenger side primaries are about 3/32" off the framerail but they'v never hit/rubbed. no signs on the headers or the framerails indicate it. maybe you didn't torque down the trans x-member bolts well enough? that'd be no bueno

it sounds like its hitting close to the motor . it sounds like from the right side header .i dont know if its hitting the frame . Or maybe it could be a motor mount.. is thier anything i can put between the frame and the header so it wont hit and maybe start crossing out the possibliites?>
