Default I finally bought a cam for the 4.8!!!!

Well I got a pretty decent bonus up at work so finally bought a cam, I am soo excited. A fellow board member made a pretty good deal on it and push rods... I will order springs tomorrow. It is a comp cam 220/220 563/563 114. The converter will be ordered as soon as I figure out which one to get... I am pretty sure I will get the yank TT3000, cause I want to maintain some stock style driving since I mainly just drive the truck stop and go and 90% it is <40mph, and it is proven.... I should have enough left for some injectors since I am at 85% now....

Question thou, should I upgrade my tranny cooler? I have an aftermarket plate/fin style I think it is 28k, I have looked at the 40k (the one that looks like an intercooler), I am just not sure if it is needed.... Suggestions would be appreciated. Anyways I hope to be in the 13's...

Yes.
Even a stock truck will benefit from a good aftermarket transmission cooler.
Get the biggest one you can fit.

Of course, more than likely a motor swap will be in the late future (next year), cause FI is just tooo damn expensive...
