I guess the last day for the $2002 rebate and special finance rates got me too <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0"> I had been kicking around getting a new truck for several months now, and I figured the time wouldn't get much better. So I traded my Tahoe and my Galant in on a red Sierra SLE ex-cab w/ 5.3L 3.73, locking diff, heavy duty towing, polished wheels, graphite cloth interior w/ power front buckets, etc...
Like Tony, I got a great deal. Invoice then the rebate. Our prices were similar as well. The truck stickered for $29,xxx and I paid $24,xxx for it, then I got my $550 GM Card rebate <img src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" border="0">

I'm picking her up at 1 PM today. Mods to be done very soon are 20% tinted windows (like in the next day or two), billet grille, and Gibson exhaust. Shortly thereafter, I'll be doing wheels, a 2/4 drop, and some stereo upgrades <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0">

Just what I needed, something else to mod <img src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" border="0"> <img src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" border="0"> <img src="gr_tounge.gif" border="0">

I doubt I'll be doing any real "performance" mods to the truck until my car is complete and I get bored. But, who knows when (if) my car will ever be complete? LOL!

When the time comes, I'll just skip all the bolt ons and install a blower and headers <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0">

Rims/Denali Grille/Denali Headlights/Pair of 10" subs/wheels/tires

I might do some free mods though <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">

I got a fleetside. I won't do much in the way of performance mods either aside from the exhaust, but that's just for the sound, really. The Gibson is very quiet with a nice, deep tone. I had it on my 99 Sierra and also on my Tahoe.

Um, what's your problem? Maybe you could care less about the truck I bought, but most of the people on this forum have "known" me via internet for several years and actually are interested. The topic pretty much says it all so I question your rationality and common sense if you actually read it, knowing you wouldn't give a rip.
