This is my first post here! I have read and reread tons of cam post.
I have a 03 Sierra extended cab, short box. It's a 5.3Ltr. auto 4x4 z71. I have done some minor upgrades. Such as Jet chip programmer, MagnaFlow exhaust, new plugs, MSD wires, and a Spectra CAI, corvette servo. Billet GMC grill badge, billet gas door and antenna delete.
IN the near future I am planning on buying JBA stainless headers.
Now that i want to get a cam upgrade. I have read a lot about the 212/218.
I do not want to change the torque converter. It is my daily driver. I plan on towing . I really do not want to loose mpg or torque. I would like this big *** truck to get up and go a litter faster.
So what is the general consensus on what cam would be best for me? Links to the exact item would be great. the lash still confuses me. Thanks for taking the time to read my run on rant of a question.
