hypertech?

what if any is the difference between the programmer III and the programmer plus.

a friend of mine has a 98 and he wanted to get the hypertech for it and he asked me the difference between the hpp3 and the hpp plus and i didnt know so i just thought id ask to see if anyone new

I think the Plus is for older non-OBD II cars/trucks. I saw one on ebay for a '94 LT1 Camaro is why I think that.
