Doesn't anyone like or use the Borla mufflers? I love mine! It is mellow, but noticable at idle and cruise. At WOT, it sounds great! Just my two cents.

No its not lol. It sounds good, but not as quiet as stock lol.

Not bad at all by any means.

I just removed my Gibson and installed the big 22" Magnaflow. The thing has so much drone below 2000 rpms that it made me feel sick while just driving home. It's definitely too loud for my taste. Which muffler should I use in front of it to eliminate the drone, guys? Is a Bullet enough or do I need a small muffler?

BTW, much more power with the freer flowing Magnaflow.

No, I just replaced the muffler in the catback system. It exits behind the rear wheel. I have LT's with y pipe, no cats, 3" stainless all the way. Lots of drone.

There is an 18" section before the big Magnaflow that I could put something else in. I'm just not too sure what to use there.

I have 2 24" dynomax ultra-flo. 2.5 in/out pn#17236. I get zero drone, and a nice deep tone. They are fairly quiet too, maybe actually too quiet lol. My wife doesn't bitch though when we are on the road 5 hours at a time going snowmobiling.

Guys, here's an upate on the big Magnaflow. I was having serious issues with drone and excessive noise so I installed a Dynomax 17267 12" round muffler in front of the big Magnaflow, just behind the trans crossmember. I'm happy to report that I am 100% satisfied with the sound now and have have some great comments from others about it already. The sound is very neighbor friendly up to about 1/4 pedal and then sounds mean (though not obnoxious) when you open it up. It's a nice deep tone that has absolutely zero drone at all RPM's. Best of all, they're both straight-through mufflers.

What I have: 1 3/4" OBX LT's, no cats, Y-pipe, Gibson 3" stainless catback piping, stainless Dynomax 17267, stainless Magnaflow 12578, Gibson single side exit tip.

I'd recommend this to anyone looking for that nice, deep, mellow sound.
