I have a 2001 Sierra SLT with a 5.3 and 4spd auto. I purchased a hpp3 last year and reprogrammed my truck. I am wondering what are the best changes to make on the shift points to utilize the most rpm out of my truck at WOT. If anyone has some suggestions on what is ideal for maximum acceleration I would really appreciate some help.

Worked great for me. Not sure what gears you have, but w/ 3.42's I never shifted into 3rd in the 1/4 mile. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

 

oops, sorry I forgot to mention that I have 3.73's

 

With +4 on the 1-2 you may bump the rev limiter on the shift so go +3 to be safe. I have +12 on the 2-3 and +0 on the 3-4 (really no need for it). My tires are just slightly shorter than the stock 235-75(only by .2" though) and I have the factory 3.73 posi.
