Default HPP & GMS added one at a time after ECM reset.

I know I just voiced my disapproval of GM and I meant every word but that won't stop me from trying to get my truck quicker, until I sell it that is. I posted that I did the fuse ECM reset, and now I been adding the HPP and GMS in steps. First I added just the HPP shifts points, then the 93 tuning and last the GMS maf. Below are the results of this quick test, again, no G-tech, this is with a two stage stop watch so the results do have a +/- for my errors. My truck is a 00 ext cab with a 5.3L and 3.73 gears. Mods are Magnaflow muffler, PV venturi, taylor plug wires and home made ram-air. The results below area 3 run average, I wanted to do it quickly so weather and gas level wouldn't be a factor. I also did it this way because the magazines do, they pop some thing on a re-test or re-dyno it. I was going for a SOTP feel also.

after ECM reset with above mods: 0-40 3.52, 0-60 6.83
HPP +3 & =12 shift points only: 0-40 3.53, 0-60 6.75
HPP shift points and 93 tuning: 0-40 3.36, 0-60 6.50
HPP settings above and GMS maf: 0-40 3.21, 0-60 6.33

The HPP 93 tuning and the GMS definitly gave me a seat-o-meter gain. The shift points did let it pull better in 1st gear, a nice mod also. These are just my results, yours may vary. I also ordered another UPD intake, I was wrong it does help. My truck doesn't pull as hard in the mid and upper rpm's with the stock lid and tube. I also ordered a drop in Amsoil air filter, the K&N and AFE filters I've test haven't done much, let's see what the Amsoil will do.
