OK you guys are confusing me HPTuners can set pin 33 settings? For A/C pressures, fan shut off at highway speeds, etc. on 03 up PCM?

yet another one of the selling factors of EFILive. When I finally get my silverado fans on, thats how i plan to wire them.

Nope, no A/C pressures in HPTuners and it appears no highway speed settings. Not sure how that would work either, since the MPH speeds are all 0 by default in the PCM.

BTW, HPTuners is working on adding support for what you're wanting to do that will hopefully be out in the next release.
Here's a screenshot of what your fan settings will look like:
Again correct me as I want to have the correct answer. My understanding
is HPTuner can enable pin 42 ECT only, and can set only on/off for ECT?

When you do this I would just add a manual switch for the max 100% recirculating air flap.

It's not a concern for you as your 2005 has no wire into pin 33 right now for this function.

I was stating this for xlcoolplx's 99-02 truck, not my 05.

No, it looks like pin 33 CAN be enabled. The only trigger available those is ECT in HPT. No MPH or A/C pressure settings that I can see.
