seems a bit high for a mustang dyno especially. I don't know if he'd even make that much on a dynojet.

I'm gonna say 289 on the mustang dyno.

Sorry to hijack the thread, but I have heard that dynojet numbers are higher and not 100% correct but at the same time when i had my truck dynoed on a mustang dyno I heard that mustang dynos read lower. Which dyno best represents what you are putting down at the wheels on the street?

See that is your flaw right there. You're consumed with your truck making big numbers when all a dyno is is a tuning device. I'm sure you've heard that before but it's true. A 350 hp truck may get it's *** handed to it by a 300 hp truck. Take TXSilverado for example. He isn't making big numbers at all but his 1/4 mile time is exceptional.

ok yesterday we had an svt ford focus on the dyno and it made 136 to wheels bone stock... the factory rates the motor at 170 to the flywheel take 136/.8 and that is 170 hp at the fly.. .8 is what the guys from mustang dyno said to use to calculate from rwhp to flywheel hp

You have to give us your before Dyno #'s. The myth of dynojet -Mustang is BS because I've seen it go both ways. You should gain 32-40rwhp adding that Cam with tuning..

cool thanks for the reply's. i will have it tuned by the end of the month along with a small converter upgrade and a little extra beef in the tranny. also i'll have some results on a simulated 1/4 mile pass on the dyno vs. what the truck actually runs at new england dragway.
