How much timing
#1
Are you guys running with Edit?
I bumped mine up 2degs across the board (essentially) and didn't feel anything but I am gonna ATAP it when it stops raining to check for KR. That would still only give me a MAX of 24deg for a short period of time before it drops to the usual 18-20deg.
Also does everyone elses timing map look all chaotic? On my F-bod and C5 the timing map ramps down and hits a solid 28deg and stays that way from 2000rpm or so till 8k. On the truck is hits a max of 24deg somewhere around 4k rpm then drops really fast as yuou get higher in rpm and grms/cyl.

My stock timing curve looked terriable so I copied over an 02 curve which looks much better. I also bumped it up two degrees across the board and see ~27* when I have no kr. I have a bad problem with false knock though and usually get 3-4* so my timing is usually in the 24* range. Feels real good in the high twenties though.

Would you be able to possibly send me a copy of the file so I could look at it?
I know alot of F-Body guys that own 01+ cars use the timing tables form 00' and below for the same reasons.
My email is F8L@starstream.net if you can get it.
