Default How much power do you guys think I can build?

Ive been reading and collecting parts for almost 2 years now. The LS engine is new to me. I really wanted to build one for my 1970 RS Camaro, but couldn't really justify it having built a gen 1 small block.

What I could justify was getting a truck. My family could use one.

At first I bought a P1SC kit. I sold it and decided I wanted to play with a turbo.

My 2000 Silverado has about 80k on it now and I've almost collected all of my parts! Woohoo!!

So it's a RCSB. I'm wondering what your guys's guesses are as to how fast I can go in the quarter mile and how much power you guys think I can make.

Here's the list:

2000 Silverado, RCSB

Turbonetics ceramic ball bearing 76mm turbo, HP76mm compressor with a F1-68mm turbine and .81 A/R

KB Racing intercooler with Tial 50mm BOV

KB Racing hot parts with 3.5 inch downpipe, and JGS 40mm wastegate

2002 LS6 cam
204/218 int/exh @ 0.05" duration
0.551" / 0.547" int/exh lift
117.5 LSA

LS7 lifters

60lb injectors

LS e-fans

4L80E

Yank SC3000 stall torque converter

NP149 AWD transfercase

40K transmission cooler

Trutrac

I also have 05+ front brakes with SUV dual piston rear caliper's and hydroboost. My truck is lowered approximately 3 inches all the way around with Hellwig swaybars and Monomax shocks. I'm also running 20" Centerline Stingray III's with new Firestone tires.

I haven't bought my fuel pump yet, but it'll probably be the Aeromotive 340.

My truck weighs 5050lbs.

I think the setup would have the potential for deep 11's. First pass will prob be low 12's...

Make sure you use the awd front diff with the awd tcase. they are slightly different. Although I have heard of some people making the 4wd front diff work. Not sure how.
Should be a fun build

Oh I for got to add Comp Cams 7.35 pushrods, and LS6 valve springs to the list.

As far as the front differential, all I have to do is engage 4hi and unplug it. There is speculation that the AWD front end is stronger because it's all one piece. Although, there are several folks that have ran with the 4wd front end and have had no problems.

It's hard to find a complete front end to swap because I have 3.73 gears.

If I can do a 12.5, I'll be thrilled! A 5000 pound truck running 12's, that's freekin awesome!

My truck might end up being faster than my Camaro!! I think it'll end up being more fun to drive.

your ls6 cam has a .025 smaller base circle
you need a longer pushrod not shorter

my heads are milled .040 and i run a 7.4 pushrod with that ls6 cam

There is nothing wrong trying it the way you are, but if you do decide to go on the hunt for a AWD front differential, all the GMT-800 Yukon Denali's and Escalade's (AWD versions), not to mention the Sierra C³'s came with 3.73's. The front axle from a Yukon Denali or Escalade would obviously be the easiest to locate.
