A friend is wanting to set up a separate fuel system and put 250hp of nitrous on his 5.3 for a local dyno day. Do think it will hold this much or will hold more? Or will it go ?

 

i think the general max on this board is about a 125 shot safely, now if your talking stroker with forged internals then thats a different story.

 

in a 4000 mile period, i went threw 18 bottles of nitrous. all shots were 150-200, nothing smaller. im rebuilding my engine now, because i took it out when my tranny went boooooom!

 

its going to go with a 250 shot

 

im spraying a 150 shot.

 

We'r going to build a 408 for it and the eingine in it now has 150,000 on it. Hear in a couple week we'r going to go get 6.0 block to start on.

i have sprayed a 150 shot over 400 times on the street and track with no fuel pump it was supposed to be a 100 shot but compucar must have never dynoed it for real hp lol now i have a fuel pump and a nx 150 shot and get no knock or anything going with 175 as we speek.

 

i just hope it holds together long enough to put down some good #'s after that...................WHO CARES

 

I have ran a 220 shot a bunch of times, watch the timing & fuel though because I have ruined a few sets of plugs like this.
