Default how much nitrous line?

I am needing to get a nitrous line from the bottle to the engine bay. Best i can figure coming from the back seat (extended cab) i am going to need about 14 feet and that is being way generous. I actually measured 12 feet. Should i get more or can i get away with less? This is one of those things you hate to buy too little of cause of the cost. Also, anyone know a good place to buy all my lines at?

14' would be good.

I ran my line from the passenger wheel well area down to the frame and under. If you look under the floor pan of the passengers seat, you'll see a little knock out plate. I poked out the cover and ran the line in there under the carpet. It easily routed under the passenders side plastic door sill / carpet cover all the way to the back seat where it exited under the seat. Hope that made sense. No drilling or cutting and it took all of 15 minutes.

yea that made perfect sense to me. Now what other lengths did you use for your noids to the nozzle and from the fuel rail to the fuel noid? i am thinking 1 footers but i dont' know and i know it depends on where you mount everything at. I found a guy that has some lines that is willing to give me a good deal. I just need to know what to tell him.

You hit the answer - it depends on where you mount everything. You really need to do a rough mount of your solenoids and then you'll know. I mounted my fuel right to a fuel rail mounting bolt, which hit the solenoid under the facotry engine cover. 1 foot would be tight since its hard to make that line bend. I'd say 2 feet.

You could use hard lines from teh solenoid to the nozzle. I watched a friend make his lines and it turned out nice. He doesn't have any skills either.
