Default how much of a improvement?

how much should i see with a nelson 93 tune compared to a hypertech 93 tune?i know that allens tunes are far superior to the hpp3 but i think that has to do alot with the auto trans tuning for shift purposes and tq management removal that the hppp3 doesnt.so with my manual how much engine improvement should i see.should be getting my tune anyday now, will try to gtech before and after for results if i can borrow one from a buddy.ive seen claims of 4 tenths better than hpp3 so how many of those tenths are just from the auto tuning?

well i had the hpp3 and now have the NELSON tune and like you say you have seen as much as 4/10 over hpp3 , im not sure on a standard but it should be about the same. My rpms from hpp3 and nelson tune are pretty close within 100 rpms so i think you will see a gain if you can keep from spinning all the way through the 1/4 lol later, keivn

Allen can change your timing and AFR also which will put you waaay ahead of anything the HPP3 can do. The HPP3 is very mild since it is supposed to work on ALL trucks without a problem so customers don't complain. Allen will custom tune yours till you reach your own personal limits.
