just got it and want to play

Default just got it and want to play

i just got my ss 03 new with 10 miles on it and im thinking of partoit head z06 cam and dynatech full lenght headers and cats and corsa exhaust and i mega charge supercharge or a vortec and one done and of these trucks yet i would like to at least run 11.5 and still tow my race car to the track any i deals?

ok do a Radix magnacharger, port and polish your stock heads, Z06 cam really isn't big enough for the 6.0. Go with some thing in the range of 224/224 with 114. Or get a cam specifically for the supercharger app. It's going to take alot more then this before you can get into 11's. I think this will be good for low 13's if it's tuned. oh also get readdy for a bullet proof 4l80e swap if you determined on going 11's in a 6000k pound truck.

Welcome to the club Jimmys434.

Running 11.5s will be tough and definitely won't happen without a power adder. I suggest heads, cam, headers, and misc bolt-ons to start. If you plan on forced induction, have your heads / cam made for boost. If you go the nitrous route, have them made for a little higher compression.

whats wrong with the 4l8e in truck is it weak if so who builds them
