Sorry to go a little off topic here but if I picked up a set of 30# injectors and had my MAF remapped for the injectors, do you think I would pick up any HP/TRQ? or would it just be a waste of fuel?

I plan on picking up a Dynatech header and cat from Jegs next month and I'm still trying to figure out which catback to go with. Other than that, what mods would you think would be best? I was looking at that Vinci "44" Cam (210/218 .531/.531 114) and supporting mods.

Just curious. Why did you have your MAF remapped and not just get the Injector Flow Rate changed to the appropriate setting instead? I'm assuming custom tuning was involved but, if a MAFT was used I understand.

As long as your tune(A/F ratio) is the same you shouldn't see any increase from the injectors. If you rescaled the MAF then it might mess with your timing a little bit, there could be an increase from that if your timing changed some.

No, you misunderstood me, I haven't had this work done. I am just looking for some HP/TRQ and was throwing around some ideas.

Oops, I see now you said "if I picked up a set".

They wouldn't hurt to have with the mods you're picking up but, if you do get them just change the Injector Flow Rate to compensate. Don't mess with the MAF to tune the injectors.
