Default How Much Damage???

Hey all,

I have an 02 2500 HD with the 8.1L Big Block and I was just wonderin how much damage I'm doin to the tranny when I stomp the sucker to the boards at about 35mph? When I do it that truck just gets up and moves since it downshifts to 1st gear but I'm worried about killin the trans, the temp gauge never moves off of normal but I was just wonderin. The truck has 40k and it has exhuast.

I don't think you're hurting that Allison too much.

that allison will hold a bunch of power. only when you begin modding very heavily would i worry about it. dont they put a similar or same on behind the dmax? that thing hold twice the torque on them engines. now go race someone.

I've only posted twice but I already love this place, I believe its the same tranny they put behind the Dmax which leads me to believe that its tough, I just wanted to be sure so when I go rice hunting I dont hurt the tranny.
