Default How much better would the 6.0 perform to my 5.3...

Would I benefit a whole bunch by switching to the 6.0 as far as the track, dyno, and racing from a roll on the street?

Here is what I will be switching over to it:

-K&N FIPK
-Descreened MAF
-FMS ported/polished Throttel Body
-Electric Fans
-ASP Crank Pulley
-LaPole Mid-Length Headers
-Taylor Plug Wires
-160* Thermostat
-Current 2 1/2" True Dual Exhaust w/ dynomax bullets & x-pipe

Here was I plan on adding to it:

-Custom FMS Cam (220/224-?/?lift-113LSA)
-Mild Headwork (Mild P&P/milled .010/new valves/valve job/cleaned-up bowels/runners)
-2cc Flattop Pistons/Piston Rings
-FMS Dyno-Tuning
-3.90 Gears
-2600 Stall (I don't want the 3000)

O.K., with all this expensive-*** stuff I'm hoping it'll be running 13s and putting down over 330rwhp. I want a real big difference in the SOTP power.

if you want one, let me know. I get crates pretty cheap and I think there was someone else that wanted one. Might be able to do a package deal

I'll let you know. Hopefully I'll have my 6.0l back in a few days and installed a week or so later. I'm hoping for 330 RWHP or so myself, with my existing mods and the addition of P/P heads, mild cam, and the ASP Pulley.

330rwhp should be NP with all the bolt-ons and a cam in a 6.0L. I am making somewhere around there now with a 5.3L. I would think 350rwhp should be your goal. Leave the 320-330 for us with the lil baby 5.3Ls

That is exactly what I was thinking! I am hoping to be in the 330 range after my 'oil change' comming up.

I think you will be able to see a very signifficant difference going from a bolt on 5.3 to a heads/cammed 6.0 with the same boltons. Add that converter and gears and it will be a really nice street setup IMO.

Just have crates, sorry. I'm sure selling the top end would be no problem on ebay though concidering it comes with everything from TB to injectors, intake, sensors etc. Heads + intake + injectors would be money, LS1 guys looking to boost always us 6.0 heads.

BigKID: How do you think that cam Allan recommended would do in the 6.0? Would I loose any significant amount of low-end torque with it?

I think you would be better by stepping up to a TT3000 and a little bigger cam. Other than that, I don't see why you couldn't hit 13's. It should be an all around better power.
