How many people in here have z06 cam?

I thought it was insane when I saw those saw the dyno numbers too. Just reember the stock cam peaks out @ 5200-5400 and it's pretty much dead after 6k while the ls6 cam peaks ot at 6100-6200.
02Danali, only reason I am gong 01 ls6 is becasue I have read countless times you will not loose as much low end as you would with the 02+ ls6 and I got an incredible deal on the cam and springs.

I have the 01 Z06 cam in my build, mostly due to emmision worries. Like Tiburon says you don't loose as much low end as the 02+ cam. It can be found cheaper, too. I got mine with springs for $140 shipped, all brand new. If there is no hurry, look around some.
It feels really good down low and has some extra breathing room on top. Good combo with the increased stroke.

Sure, the LS6 can is a top end cam, and the motor can really benefit from more RPM, but 80RWHP? I'ld like to see the proof man.

Stock I made 242rwhp @ 5100rpm
By 6200rpm I had dropped down to about 206rwhp.
Compared to my 226 cam before tuning. Pay attention to the power at 6200rpm. At 6200rpm with my cam and headers etc. I made 304rwhp (before tuning). So that is a solid 98rwhp gain at 6200rpm.
Yeah you lose some low end but I could care less since when racing I never drop much below 4k rpm anyway. So that's where I want all my power, 3.5k and above.
