Yenko That truck is beautiful. What'd it cost to put a motor like that together? I may have missed this, but what trans are you runing with?

My friend has an 85 that is pretty custom, I am trying to talk him into putting a GenIII in it, once he gets some money saved up he wants to do a motor swap.

Thanks for the compliment, I am running a 700R4 back behind it....it took some money obvisously....it has Airflow Research heads on it so...I put the best street heads on it. The fuel injection system alone was about 2G so...with 1400 dollar heads....then the 383, cam, etc...you can gather how much it cost and the best part is...with a roller setup and more cam....I could easy get more than 500hp out of it then CNC the heads and open hte intake up a little bit more....almost 600hp is very possible.
