How many cc per .01 milled
#1
like the title says.
i was thinking about it today, on 317s how many ccs are taken off with every .010" milled..
my plans were LQ4 and 862 heads with 2.00" valves and ported, that would yield me around 10.5:1 compression..
can a similar compression be obtained with 317s, they already flow better and have 2.00" valves..
any info would be awesome guys..

for .03 off the heads that is around 7 cc
317s milled that much will net you same results as installing 243s on a LQ4 which would be 10.4

Thanks i was really wondering about that when I change my cam out. I want to mill the heads because they are a 72 cc and the motor was built for FI but i went NA instead so a boost in compression should help a little.
