Default how long would you drive to change your 918's

I just got my replacement 918's and they look pretty. I am gathering parts to do a Head swap. Would you drive 3 hours to my tuner/mechanic and put the springs on the new heads and do the head swap or should I swap them then drive out and switch them then?? It's a PITA to do them on the truck in the snow, and would be so much easier to put them on the new heads on the bench.
thanks

It's kinda hard to understand what you're staying, but why switch them twice when you could do it once?

I dont want to drop a valve. I am not comfortable swapping the heads and if I did I would need to get the tune right, so I want to get my truck to the tuner. Its a few hours drive and I still have the old 918's on the motor, should I worry and change them now (which I have done before) and drive out. Then swap them @ his place.

sorry for being confusing

The old 919's are just fine. Yeah, there were some problems but it wasn't a global issue. If you have been running them for a while you should be fine. Of course it is totally up to you.
