How heavy are the fiberglass hoods

I plan on getting the GlasTek 2" cowl for the truck and it weights in at a mere 25 lbs for the hinged version and 18.5 lbs for the hood pin style. If you want to shave 40 lbs off the front its not such a bad idea for $300 + paint.

I emailed stylinconcepts about their carbon fiber hood and they said it weighed around 10-15lbs. The guy said it's no problem to pick up with one hand. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> The only problem is $$$. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />

is it a traditional style cowl or one like a goodmark etc?
