I just ordered a B&M 3000rpm stall convertor for my truck, and I was wondering if anyone else had one, or knows how good they are. I know most people go with the Yank 3000, but $490 versus $730 sounds pretty good. Also I called Comp Cams cam help line, gave them my engine specs and they recomended the Comp Extreme RPM 212/218-.522/.529-114. The cam tech said that with the 114 lobe sep I would be able to run up to a 300 shot of NOS with the stock bottem end. Sounds crazy to me. Im going to step up to a 150, and if that goes good I'll try 200.

Keep me posted for sure. I have 2 vehicles that need converters and I have almost ordered the B and M you are talking about a couple times but I always got sidetracked. I know a guy that runs the B and M 3000 in a TH350 in a S10 and he absolutely swears by it. If yours works good I will probably buy 2 of them.

Forget the Vigilante. Very inefficient converter. I have 2 buddies that just did the 3200 stall Vig. They dynoed out at 319 rwhp & 329 rwhp with the converter unlocked. With the converter locked they dynoed out at 351 & 358 respectively. No way I'd do a Vig.

From what the guys at B&M say, it stalls to 3000 in the trucks and locks up like the stock convertor on the highway. The exact same thing yank claims. Both companies claim a .5-.6 increase in 1/4 times. I know Im no convertor expert, but wheres the difference?
