Default How to get that deeeeeep deep sound from my truck?

I know buy a big block! I hear some of these f body cars on these vids and love that deep sound that make. { like big mike} Now I got rid of my cats and had the dynomax race mufflers with 3 inch pipe and dumps and it sound like a old farm truck with glasspacks, raspy as hell. I got chokemasters back on , because i got a hell of a deal, and at least it got rid of the rasp. I am tired as hell of flowmasters. I have had them on 10 years of rides. I dont have to have super loud but i want a deeper sound. BORLA? I know a cat back would be maybe a way to go but I only want to change my mufflers if possible for now. I know headers would make it some what deeper sounding but i am a broke dick right now so I have to make do. So any tips would be GREEAAAAAT.

Corsa sounds the best in my opinion, but that is a catback.

FYI.. without your cats, the Borla is going to be even raspier that the Dynomax you took off. I recently took my cats off and with the dual magnaflows it didn't get nearly as raspy as I though it would.

The mellow tones I have on my truck are extremely deep and have no rasp hardly. They are a simular desigh to flowmaster, but have smaller baffels and flow way more air. It sounds mean as hell with no cats. Alot like the WS6s with the loud mouth or Boslas.

I love the sound of SLP's on a SS or RamAir. I had one on my IROC and it sound's nice and deep but has just a little rasp to it!

i would just go with a borla muffler...maybe a set of xr1 borlas, my best friend has borla on his LT1 and it's got that deep throaty sound. my truck with no cats, true duals and dynomax bullets is pretty deep till about 4500....then it screams.
