Default How does your truck run in hot Weather!

So this maybe a question for 50% of you but how does your truck run when it's 100-115 or even in the 119 degrees outside? Ac going, super hot, cooling fans, everything hates running.

Only reason why I ask is because it rained in AZ tonight and I thought it was nice out so I went for a drive, it was in the low 80s, and anyways my truck ran so much better, usually when I drive to work, get in my truck to start it it has a long crank and it starts kinda rough, not missing or nothing but just kinda acts like it's got no gas, but fuel pump is fine and if I cycle the key a few times it still does it, but when it's cooler out it doesn't do it at all.

Anyways so I was just wondering how many of your guys trucks prefer cooler weather or you just see a huge difference in your truck when it is cooler.

Any vehicle runs better when the air is cooler.

Cooler air means denser air, more oxygen = moar powa!

87 octane doesn't allow much room for power with hot iat's.

Timing gets pulled hard with high iat's.

Truck hates this Texas heat. Fans on (mechanical one) ac only blows around 65. Condenser is fuckered so it gets hot sitting at lights. Only time it likes to run is when the wind is behind me. After work I have to let the fuel pump refill the rails or it won't start as quickly as normal. I love late fall to early spring. Truck feels happy then

I notice a big difference In power when its really hot out. Personally have zero issue when startin it when its been sittin in the heat all day, one thing i get is kinda of slow start when i quickly turn the truck on/off say im at a drive thru, other then that im good, ac blows cold when ever
