Default How does this cam setup look?

In summit racing they have...Crane cams 216/224,.551/.551 good from 1,000-6,000 rpm
or would I be better off with a 220/220,.551/.551 rated for 3,000-6,500rpm

how would this work on my truck?
Is that size cam streetable?

Is this going in a 5.3 or have you done a 6.0 swap? Eather way this is one huge cam and would not very streetable. Those are very cheap prices. Are you sure it is for the Gen 3 ls1 based engines?
Consider getting a TR 224 and take it from there.

From the looks of those prices, those cams are for genII small blocks or something like that...FWIW, the cam specs don't look very familiar to me either (hang around here long enough and you start memorizing cam specs...geeze, can't remember my own address though )

(now in the tpi,lt1/ls1 section) the gen 3 hot cam kit. 219/228@.050 .525/.525

i sound like an idiot, i got my wisdom teeth pulled out yesterday an I think I'm just high on hydrocodone and wired evergy drinks(i got the hookup on those btw)

I really want to find a good cam for my truck tho because I need to start working on that this winter. Thwere are just too many options!

Or I could go with a 216/224@.050, .551/.551 that is probably a little better cam for my needs.

I've got that 216/224 Vinci cam in my truck and I am very happy with it, great driveability and pulls good through out the rpm range.

My shift points are set at about 6300rpm and my truck pulls good all the way up to that.
