Yah, that's the truck i would ultimately want rcsb, 6.0, t56, 4.56's.

There is the perfect truck that this lady has down the street, she never drives it, it's a 2006 rcsb victory red, perfect cond, 4.3 5sp, do a 6.0 swap and the t56 swap is soooo much easier with a manual already in the truck, it's the perfect truck, SS red so just SS bumper and rollpan and toneau cover and it's a real SS.

Get either one and mill the heads/increase head gasket thickness to get the CR you want.

Yah we'll see, i think i want the Lq9 and slap a mild cam in that works with stock internals and put all my bolt on-s, just for my truck. Then when i get a rcsb, then i'll maybe build it to a 408

The LQ4s with the aluminum heads (317s) made 325 hp- Came in the C3s and Denalis and maybe others.

Anyway, i know you can determine which motor from a vin, but shoping for just the motor how can u tell which is which? Is there a block number i should be looking for? If someone could just let me know that would be great, i used to know and had the numbers written down but have lost them

thnx, that's good to know. But there is still no way of knowing which 6.0 you are getting when it's out of the truck unless a junkyard to a tow yard or something know's what vehicle it was.

True. If you think you will do nothing to the motor after you buy it, then hold out for the LQ9.

But, If you think you will build it up, then just make sure you get a 6.0l block with the good heads. I don't think you have an FLT 80e for 345hp though.

Buy it-Break it-Build it!
