I know its doable, the problem for me is simply because I cant afford it.
It just simply cost too much to build a ls1 in our trucks N/A or turbo/supercharge, then building the tranny to handle the power for me. I was just curious maybe if there is an easy/cheaper way to get 450-500 hp out of my truck. I think next time ill just get a duramax and take it to nelson for a tune. My fathers got a damn 2500 crew cab 4x4 duramax with a bullydog programer and it completely smoked my truck! Thats one reason why I want some more power out of my truck, my dad beat me in a race,(thats embarrasing).

Probably not, but it was nearly half the size (3.0L) inline 6. It was a fun car though, still rather have a new vette anyday! Those things are NICE!

All I can tell you is to try not to build beyond your means. Theres a lot of cool stuff I'd like to do but it will only leave me broke and probably the truck broken down without the money to get it back together without hitting the credit card. Many of my friends and I raced, courtesy of Visa and Mastercard, for a long time. It's good to have those days behind us. Build as you can and remember sometimes the biggest/easiest bang for the buck can really go BANG!!! Then you'll be hitching a ride to work with your dad. Nobody wants that.
