yank3000, great mod, not one complaint, i have let several people drive my truck and no one even notices but when you floor it stalls all the way to 4200rpm , no before and after ET's but i do pull low 1.8 60' consistantly and am prety sure i will see some 1.7's this spring.

i would have to say converters in general are $ for ET 2nd only to nitrous.

i ran a tci for about 3 days, felt real good under normal driving, much better than stock, but didnt get to try it out at the track. As it ate up my tranny, not sure why, but the dealer said there was plenty metal in there.

Anyone know why my tranny went south on me so fast.
i am tempted to do it again for some 1/4 times, but this time, i will be out of luck as my warranty just finished.

I have a Precision Industries Vigilante 3200 torque converter and I like it. No more dead spots, drivabillity is good, and it makes it a lot more fun to drive. The only down side to this converter is towing, which is very limited, if not at all. But I don't tow, so it is not a big deal to me.

Vigilante 2800. Huge imrovement. Now I wish I'd gone with the 3200 though. Stall is addictive.

Yank TT3000 going in next week, I'm glad to hear good stuff about it and feel sorry for my tires after it goes in.
