Yoiur not being a dick.
We do realize that, but Hooker uses the same coating no matter which truck the header is designed for, as well as the same tubing. So any info on coatings and noise transmission(Ticking etc.) would be releveant to the discussion.

Jsut so you know, I have been daily driving my Hooker LT's for teh last 7-8 years now, even in the salty Canadian winters. There is some surface rust, but the extra money for teh Ceramic Coating is certainly worth it. The headers I had before were NOT coated and EVERY SINGLE SPRING I had to install a new set of headers as the primary tubes woudl rust through.
the added initial expense for teh coating has paid for itself MANY times over in the long run.
Good luck with your rig DozerDan.
Can anybody else help this guy out with more info on Hooker LT's for a 1999+ GEn 3 engines truck??

peace
Hog

I looked at some at work...... The Pacesetter look better overall EXTERNALLY!! But with the Paces, that is a whole different story inside. There are pics on this forum to prove that. Anyway, the Hooker head flange is crappy thin, they are NOT machined or ground flat. Kinda sad IMO. But you can get them in 2 different primary sizes which is a huge plus. Not EVERY 5.3 needs a 1 3/4 primary let alone a 3" collector.

Found the pic:
