I have Hooker Super-Comps on my truck. They are made of 16-guage tubing so they tick somewhat, with the cam it sounds good. I bought them ceramic coated. For my application I added EGR, AIR, and O2 bungs to them. They have 3-bolt flanges and 1.75" primaries. They're also equal-length. Unfortunately these are not smog legal.

I also have the Hooker Super-Comps. They do tick and ring and transmit engine noise, but I like em. With a cam they really sound badass. Of course in CA every 2 years the legal shorties and a cat have to go back on for a day, so everything is flanged and bolted instead of welded.

Heres a link to the D3353-1 on Summits site. I used that link because it has a picture. After some digging that I did. These are modeled after the TOG headers so many guys have come to love.

Just a minor correct ion james, you are running the big dollar 2806 1HKR Super Competition Hooker Longtube Headers which actually use an 18 ga. tubing.

I am running the 1/2 price COmpetition Series Hooker longtubes, with teh smaller 1 5/8" primaries and 2 1/2" collectors. These are the headers that use the 16 ga. tubing. These headers are NON-equal length.
These headers and a mild Fastchip 87 octane tune dropped my 1/4 mile by 3/4's of a second.

BTW James did an EXCELLENT job on addingthe AIR and O2 bungs on himself. Very pretty, and functional.

peace
