Homemade air intake?

Does any body see a problem using this for the elbow to the TB?

For one I do not believe it is round. Second it has a 5" opening where our TB are 4". You would need a redeucer to get it to fit but that would just add lengh and negate the tight radius.

Looking at it, I believe the long end is 4" and the short end is 5" If it did fit, you will have to reduce from 5" to 3.75" for the MAF
