Default High compression and nitrous echaust

Ive recently built a new engine for my turd box. To keep the story short it's a pretty stout built 12:1 371 big cam big heads etc. Last night I uncapped the exhaust just for giggles and the truck is WAY snappier across the board. It currently has 1 7/8 speed engineering headers through their full mandrel y pipe to a 3.5 intermediate through a 3.5 moroso spiral flow and 4" dyna tech split flow race muffler. Truck sounds great with the setup but after seeing how much it picked up uncapped I feel the backpressure is way too much even on horsepower. I'm thinking true dual 3" with an x pipe when speed engineering releases the setup but I do know with nitrous it likes the quickest way out so I'm unsure if the x pipe is really needed in this application

Just curious to see what some of you guys are running for high compression/nitrous engines

Thanks

T.J.

Throw a back pressure gauge on it and see what it is.

Cheap digital tire pressure gauge with the proper fittings will work.
Or any 0-20psi pressure gauge. Even a boost gauge will work.

Barb fitting to screw into 02 bung, hose and two clamps.

Boom, bang, done.
