Default Hi ram or mid rise??

Ok I'm building a 5.3 all motor and I'm going with a 224 cam most likely, and a set of 243 heads, everything is gunna be fresh and new and I was wondering witch would be the better intake to run? The holly mid rise or hi ram? I'm prolly gunna throw a small shot of nitrous on it like maybe a 100 shot at the most, but I was wondering what you guys think would be the best intake to run? Or would you even recommend a different intake? I just want what would work best! Thanks!!

Im not so sure that either of those intakes would be any better off than the stock truck intake. Maybe if you're trying to max it out on motor or pushing some boost.

Yea I would just run the TBSS intake on something like that. How do you plan on using your truck? Daily driver, weekend warrior, or track truck?

TBSS will do. Really no reason to put the aluminum intakes on unless you are going for an All out power truck or just the cool factor.

I like my high rise it definetly needs a good converter.. As they are a little lazy down low. In my experience.. They sure sing up top tho!! The cathedral versions may be better but I have yet to test them... I wasn't a huge fan of the mid rise, I'd run a fast or something like that even tho they are more expensive. Tbss is a nice budget option tho
