Hi, Just got an SS
Hi hows it going. I havent been active on this site for a long *** time. I use to have a blown 01 GMC, then I traded it straight up for a 97 c5. I went over to the darkside for a few months and owned a 04 Terd f150. It sucked. Dont Buy A Ford. I traded it in for a used arrival blue SS with 5k miles. I had the truck for 2hrs and I installed the FIPK kit from my old GMC, and I removed the muffler and replaced it with straight pipes( Bad Move It's a little to loud ). As for the vette, im running a donaldson cai, ls6 intake, zo6 flywheel/clutch, and a Borla stinger exhaust.
What mods have proven themselves on the 6.0l ho motor? Should I bother with the E fans? Any cam suggestions? I even thought about making my own turbo system by copying the STS design with a larger turbo.
Whats been the best dyno proven catback?

Welcome back. I was wondering what happened to you. As I last remember, you had just gotten a built transmission and were working out some other things before you stopped posting.
Enjoy the SS. I enjoy mine. You'll get lots of different answers on those questions you asked. Do a search and you'll find lots of good info. The HO motor is pretty capable.

Welcome back man and congrats on the SS. I think as far as a cam goes it depends on if your going to run boost-you mentioned a turbo possibly so if your gonna do that go with a blower/turbo cam. If i were you i would have a custom grind cam to fit your setup. As far as exhaust goes Magnaflow seems the way to go with either ASM's,dynatech(kinda costly)or TOG headers and something like a magnaflow x pipe. Enjoy the SS and keep us posted!!!
