6.0 swap is always a good idea! tranny will work but not long probably. a beefed up tranny would be a needed to handle added power.

A burban trans will be the saem as your truck has unless it is a 2500 truck.. If I had to do it again I would get the built trans first then find a engine... A stock 60 won't last long behind a decent 6.0

for the amount you'll spend in buying a 6.0 block especially here in kuwait, you might as well stick on a magnacharger...

remeber you need a 58x reluctor 6.0, or else you'll run into all sorts of tuning problems..a 6.0 ss engine in the scrap yard runs around KD700-1000. Installation will cost you around KD300-400. Then tuning and all sorts of other bits and pieces.. trust me it will add up.

If your going to stick the 6speed burban trans in, you'll need to speak to speartech and spend alot more.. use a 4l80e out of an 05-06 escalde/denali and that should be well more then enough..

Goodluck with the hunt.
