He is getting close. The cam is in. He needs to clean the head, put it back on and button everything back up.

those <cuss words> at gm dont sell individual head gaskets anymore <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" /> now i have to pull both heads and then torque them back down. shouldnt be too much more work but i sure as hell dont want to do it

sucks cause i didnt buy slowverados head gaskets while he was over and now i need them

at least i am proving it is possible (tho not advised) to do a heads/cam swap in an apartment parking lot haha. wow, im never doing any major work here again. either paying someone or using a friends garage! Sure this could have been done alot quicker if i had a parts car the entire time and if i wasnt so damn lazy. ive been working on it like 3-4 hours/day. time to crack down on it tho!

hey neil, so when am i gonna get the secret link to the ls1tech **** forum??? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_images/icons/tongue.gif" />

oh well, it woulda gone smooth without the drop, so, anythings possible.....
