my shifts from first to second seem sorta slow and long with predator. i have the rev limit set to 5700 with the 1 to 2 shift since it seems slow. my 2 to 3 shift is a lot quicker. one thing i did notice on the 1 to 2 shift tho is the truck surges forward during the shift. i am gonna be putting a corvette servo in to see what that will do.

Same thing here... I'm kinda scared it's slipping or something on the 1-2. I was wondering if I should put a shift kit in to fix it but I don't want to chirp the tires, just a good firm shift.

i'm gonna try the servo this weekend and lower the shift settings on predator. might be the ticket. a shift kit is gonna go in soon. (using one washer only. i am sure i will have to send predator back to zero on the shift settings. i'll post how it feels after the servo.

Try going to the + side. I can't remember off the top of my head but I think that when you go - it decreases/lengthens the shift time. I had the same issue and I moved the setting to the opposite side and it shifted a lot faster.

i was told to put my shift rpm's at 5500 by james at runninwiththedevil. he said it was not so important to get higher since the powerband that our cams are around 5500 to 5600 max.he said that the computer has a shift deferment when it gets that high in the rpm range.i ran mine last night and came up with some readings.
02=850 to 915 at wot
ect 194
iat 84 while moving
maf 27.15 to 32.14 wot
tps 100%
0.00 knock
think i am going to pick up fuel and spark a little. will let you know how it works out.

how did you tell if you were getting knock or not? by listening to the engine or is there code on live data that tells you?
