I went to ACE - picked up a 1.00 brass hose connector - the connector is about 2.5 to 3 inches long - in the plumbing section - I used the OE clamps - I picked up a 3/8 and a 5/16 just in case - did not have to reroute the hose - the 2 hoses came right together - sits right under the throttle body - easiest thing I have ever done. - How much of a difference I dont know - but cooler is better

I just removed the small hose and connected the long one directly to the spot where the small one was. No connector needed.

I did the same as Big Tex. It is easy, just reroute the long hose section, and leave no hoses on the throttle body, you don't need to plug the holes on the throttle, since it is just a straight little tube that goes throught the bottom of the throttle body.

Doing this still gives you a couple of inches of play left in the hose, so it is easy to reroute.
